February Meeting: Proposal to open Swing Bridge Reserve to the public,
maintenance working-bee at Swing Bridge Reserve, replace March meeting with BBQ at Weir, postpone further planting until soil moisture is recovered.

We’ve had the significant rain, so now its time to hit the weeds – mostly blackberry and periwinkle with a sprinkling of fat-hen, mustard weed, spurge and thorn-apple.
Open the Reserve to the public?
While we still need to check out the technicalities of public liability, then create some tracks and install gates, fall the hazardous trees…
And we need to consider whether the area needs to be supervised – thought bubble at this stage, but we’d like to make a decision soon.
