The Coastal and Inland Plants of the Bellarine Peninsula has been recently developed by the Swan Bay Integrated Catchment Management Committee and are now available by phoning 5256 3687.

COASTAL AND INLAND PLANTS OF THE BELLARINE PENINSULA – two companion booklets

 

Discover, enjoy and appreciate some of the different plant communities that naturally grow on the Bellarine Peninsula, using these two pocket-sized, 64 page, full-colour booklets.

 

Each booklet features a vegetation map for the Bellarine Peninsula, detailed photographs and points of interest for 50 key indigenous plant species.

 

Coastal Plants of the Bellarine Peninsula identifies 50 key plant species that occur in one or more of the following Ecological Vegetation Classes (EVC):

·       EVC 1 Coastal Dune Scrub / Coastal Dune Grassland Mosaic;

·       EVC 9 Coastal Saltmarsh; and

·       EVC 858 Coastal Alkaline Scrub (Calcarenite Dune Woodland).

 

Inland Plants of the Bellarine Peninsula identifies 50 key plant species that occur in one or more of the following Ecological Vegetation Classes (EVC):

·       EVC 48 Heathy Woodland;

·       EVC 55 Plains Grassy Woodland; and

·       EVC 175 Grassy Woodland.
