After many months of removing invasive weeds from the track, the Paynesville Landcare Coastcare group has finally put some flora back!

During the April working bee, a number of seedlings were planted around the information sign to cover the cleared area between the sign and the gum tree.  The cleared area was created during earlier working bees by removing a huge African Boxthorn - a regionally controlled weed.

Seedlings were kindly supplied by Riveria Garden Centre, Paynesville:

  • Lomandra Longfolia

  • Indigofera Australis

  • Vanilla Lily (Sowerbaea juncea)

  • Goodenia ovate

  • Correa reflexa
