Since forming, Gorse Control has been of ongoing concern to the group. In recent years we have managed to obtain funding to assist landowners with a subsidy towards the cost of chemical used in spraying the weed with an ongoing commitment by the landowner to keep it under control. This subsidy has applied in target areas of Broomfield, Nth Creswick, Bald Hills and Sulky.The group owns a trailer mounted spray unit which is available to the public for a small charge of $25/day to non members and $15/day for members.
