Join us for a night of spotlighting on Ewarts Road in the tall Peppermint Forests at the top of the range including lots of Greater Gliders (our largest glider species), Brushtail Possum & more.
Meet Tony Marsh for carpooling & convoy: (no later than) 19.30hrs at the Baranduda Community Centre Car Park
Departure @19.40hrs
or Meet on Site: 19.50hrs top of Ewarts Rd (turn off from Wodonga Beechworth Rd – then approx. 4kms up to plateau)
Note: this is a 2wd road for the entire trip ie OK for non 4WD vehicles.
BYO: Mug (for tea or coffee), warm clothes and sturdy footwear, Binoculars, Head lamp, torch or spotlight and your Kids.We’ll start the evening with a cuppa around an imaginary fire, & have a quick show and tell on spotlighting and the type of animals likely to be seen.
