This event has been held annually since Landcare started in the High Country.
This year, 45 Landcare members between Benambra and Tambo Crossing, placed orders for over 500 herbicides that they will use over the coming spray seasons to control weeds across thousands of hectares of private and public land.
The Bulk Chemical Program gives land holders better buying power and great financial savings, while also giving farmers an opportunity to discuss their weed issues and best approaches.
This helps farmers in their efforts to contain, control or eradicate weeds on and beside their properties. They continue to use herbicides in conjunction with grazing, mechanical disturbance, competition and even hand pulling.
