Learn more about sowing and managing perennial pastures; setting up a rotational grazing system, the latest in winter fodder crops and pasture cropping

Friday February the 25th 2011 at Whorouly Recreation Reserve From 8.45am to 4pm.  
Lunch will be supplied

Topics include:

Making pasture sowing and fertiliser decisions to reduce costs

Controlling summer weeds

Alternative fertilisers – results from trials done in NSW
 

Sowing annual pastures for late autumn and early winter feed

Updates on pasture species demonstration sites

Running a profitable livestock business.
 

Speakers include:

Tim McNamara (McNamara’s Country Store)
 

Nathan Shannon (Dairy Officer, DPI, Victoria)

There will also be seed company stands and machinery displays.
