Guest speakers include: Adjunct Prof. Bill Gammage (ANU), Uncle Rod, Traditional Owners, Landcare and Country Fire Authority Officers.

The forum will look at:

  • How indigenous people used fire to manage the landscape prior to European settlement
  • What's happening now
  • What opportunities are there for the future

We have a great line up of speakers and there will be an opportunity for a panel question and answer session at the end.

We will also screen the locally produced "fire film" and provide an update on the fire trial research that is being conducted on three properties in the North East.

The 2013 fire forum was booked out, so if you're interested, book early. Registrations close on Monday 1st  December
