Mitta to Murray Blackberry Action Group in partnership with Mitta Valley Landcare Group and the North East CMA present a field day on returning areas to production after blackberry control.

Do you know what to consider when assessing options for returning valuable production to areas after blackberry is removed?

Join us to follow the process from first spray through to perennial pasture establishment at Wayne and Karen Moroney’s demonstration site.

Topics covered will include:

  • Economics of returning production after controlling blackberry
  • Effective blackberry control and new products and methods
  • Site preparation challenges after blackberry spraying
  • Impacts of chemical residues on subsequent pasture/crop choices
