Our Guest Speaker this year is Franz Mahr, a regular visitor to our valley . Franz has many years of practical experience working with biological control of invasive weeds. He will share some success stories, update us on recent developments and offer some ideas for the future.
A Taste of the Wild and Unusual: This will be followed by a most interesting feast . We will share some of the Wild and Unusual foods that our beautiful Valley can provide - along with just a couple of tried and true staples in case you have a wary tongue! During the meal our Project Officer Simon Feillafe and members contributing to the feast will be available to tell us more about the dishes in the spread, the state of the feral animal populations in our region and their impact.
