CLIMATE EXTREMES IN THE ALPINE SHIRE

Are you concerned about how climate change is affecting the Alpine Shire?
Would you like the chance to win a fuel card?
Do you remember the impacts of extreme events in Alpine Shire in the past?
Then come along to a public meeting that aims to share information with the community about your changing environment.  The Alpine Shire has experienced many extreme events in recent years – bushfire, drought, severe frost, flood and storms.  They may start to happen more often, or be more extreme, as the climate changes. Perhaps some extremes are already more frequent than in times past?
We will be presenting what we have learned so far about the history of climate extremes in the Alpine Shire. We are seeking your insights, opinions, and recollections concerning the impacts of climate and extreme events on the Shire.
Attendance and entry in the door prize draw is free, and you are not obligated to participate in any way.  So come along and take part, and be in the running to win!
