Join us for an information session in understanding the habits, current distribution and the impact Indian Mynas will have on the native fauna in the Rutherglen/ Corowa area.
In addition the current available control and eradication methods for Indian Mynas.
The Rutherglen/ Corowa district is beginning to see an influx of these introduced pest species ( listed in the world top 100 invasive species) resulting from expanding populations in the Wangaratta and Yarrawonga areas. A community effort is required to map their full distribution and assist in eradicating them.
The night; 10th June Rutherglen Senior Citizens Centre @ 6.00pm with pizza followed by guest speakers speaking on Indian Myna bird control programs and the ethical rulings that need to be followed.
