An intro to basic requirements for keeping backyard chooks healthy, including breeds, housing, feeding, growing herbs and food.

12.30 Soil testing workshop

Dale Stringer, North East Catchment Management Authority

An introduction to basic soil testing techniques to assess your soil health. The workshop includes hands-on assessment of soil texture and pH measurement. 

1.15 Native revegetation

An overview of the key steps in restoring or planting native vegetation, including site assessment, selecting the right species and revegetation techniques.

2.00 Worm farms & composting

How to establish a worm farm and keep your worms happy. Plus an overview of different types of composting, what to use, and growing herbs for your compost.
