This project is live

The Kinglake Landcare Group recently held a morning of investigation of the spring wildflowers of the Kinglake National Park led by Michael Cincotta from Latrobe University Wildlife Sanctuary.
The wildflower walk was held on Saturday 12th October and was a great day.
The location was off Eucalyptus Road from Island Creek Picnic Ground to The Gums Camp Ground following the Island Creek.
25 people attended and got to observe over 80 species of wildflowers and native orchids. An interesting highlight was observing native wasps pollinating Bird Orchids.
A great lunch of wood fired pizza, bread and wine was provided at the nearby farm of Kinglake Landcare Group members Phil and Lyn Lobley.
