Three traps are available for members' use to trap Indian Mynas on their property. This pest competes with native wildlife for nest hollows and food, and we have removed around 30 birds from Badger Creek in the past year.
Although a slow process, locally the effects are dramatic, with many small birds coming back into our gardens.
It seems many birds are now paired up for breeding, so a more concerted effort is required to capture them.
