Rosemary Weatherley, a founding member of the Western Plains Tree Group, is the latest interviewee in our Landcare Voices project, part of celebrating the 30 year history of Landcare with professional oral histories (Warning - files are huge - 70MB)!

Living in the Western District, Rosemary recalls her father cutting down some of their plantation trees on their property to make ammunition boxes for the war. Rosemary was a leading member of the Western Plains Tree Group – a small but active group who got started by planting trees to revegetate the Streatham area after the 1977 fires.
