Landcare Voices: 7th Interview Available!

Landcare stalwart Rob Youl talks about his thirty years in Landcare.

From the Forestry School at Creswick, then several months working in the mountain timber around Mansfield and two years officer training in the Army, Rob found himself back in the forests, this time around Cann River. Later a Masters at Aberdeen University launched him off into a lifetime of forestry and land conservation. As a ‘people person’ and landowner, he developed a lifetime career across areas of education and extension positions and developed multidisciplinary approaches for the best way to achieve both production from and landscape value to, the land. Rob was with Landcare Australia Limited for some years and is Chair and Co-founder of the Australian Landcare International.
