2020-21 INSURANCE SUMMARY AVAILABLE + HAVE YOU HAD ANY LARGE EVENTS IN 2019-20? + NEW RULES AVAILABLE + NEW RULES AVAILABLE + RENEWAL REMINDER
Dear LVI Member Groups,
I hope everyone is doing well despite the challenges posed by the COVID context. If you know anyone who is struggling, especially with this second lockdown, there are resources available such as here and here . In the meantime stay connected and take care.
The 2020/21 insurance summary is now available at https://www.landcarevic.org.au/groups/state/lvi/landcare-victoria-inc-insurance-summary/
All LVI Member Groups who have completed their membership renewal for 2020-21 are covered by this LVI insurance package. Please note that insurance policies and conditions have changed over the last few years so please read them carefully to ensure coverage.
One of the new conditions under the insurance package is to advise us of any events with more than 250 attendees. If you have a large event (once the COVID situation passes) then that is great – we merely need to know in order to correctly assess the level of cover required.
If you can cast your mind back to those halcyon pre-COVID-19 days and recall any large events that would be great. If you had any events of more than 250 attendees after 1 July 2019, please send us an email with the date, name and approximate numbers to firstname.lastname@example.org (if you attended such an event but weren’t the organiser no need to email). It will not affect your insurance coverage!
LVI membership and insurance renewals were due 30th June 2020. Renewal paperwork for the 2020/21 year, was sent to all current billing contacts either by email or post in early June. If you cannot locate your Landcare Victoria Inc. renewal notices please let us know as quickly as possible.
Membership & Insurance certificates are now available for financial Member Groups (turnaround is about a week) – please be patient during this busy period. If you are unsure whether your group is currently covered please call us on 03 9207 5527 or email email@example.com.
The other important business of the AGM was approving the new LVI Rules of Association – these have now been approved by Consumer Affairs Victoria and are available at https://www.landcarevic.org.au/groups/state/lvi/landcare-victoria-inc-rules
