The purpose of the Smart Farms Small Grants round is to support land manager practice change that will deliver more sustainable, productive and profitable food, fibre and forestry business while protecting Australia’s biodiversity; protecting and improving the condition of natural resources; and assisting Australia meet its international obligations.
Applications for this round close at 11.00pm AEDT on 19 December 2019.
Grants of between $5,000 & $50,000 (excl GST) for eligible projects of up to 2 year duration are available. Applications close at 11.00pm AEDT on 19 December 2019.

Please note all Landcare Groups that are operating solely under LVI incorporation will need LVI or another incorporated, GST registered entity, such as a local Landcare Network, to act as the lead organisation and apply on your behalf in this round.
If this applies to your group/network, please notify LVI of your intent to apply ASAP so application details/further instructions can be provided. Landcare Groups requiring LVI assistance will need to finalise their sections of the project application by no later than Monday 16th of December 2019 so LVI has enough time to complete the declarations and submit it on your behalf as the applicant.
Please note - the earlier you notify us of your intention to use LVI as the lead organisation and send the application through the better, so we can ensure it is able to be approved and submitted on time.
