Weerite Landcare Group will engage landholders to undertake a perennial pasture establishment program. The group will monitor soil carbon content, soil nutrients and soil pH over three years by undertaking independant annual soil tests. A range of sites will be established with a variety of resilient perennial pasture species, including on salt affected sites lacking groundcover and paddocks that have been repeatedly fallowed and sown to annual species year after year.
