Coastcare is community volunteers who have a passion for protecting and enhancing our coast. There are over 2000 Coastcare groups across Australia working towards keeping our coast beautiful for future generations.

Ocean Grove is part of a thirteen kilometre stretch of sand dunes and coastal vegetation on the Barwon Coast.

With your help we aim to preserve and protect the valuable biodiversity of the Ocean Grove coast including threatened Coastal Moonah Woodland and critically endangered Hooded Plovers.

Ocean Grove Coastcare was established in 2010.

We work closely with local land managers and our community to address environmental issues such as sand dune erosion, loss of biodiversity, pest plants, responsible pet ownership and access to sensitive coastal areas.

Ocean Grove Coastcare is a great way to meet new people and get involved in your community. We do loads of fun activities like film nights, planting native plants, fauna surveys, removing weeds and picking up litter.
