If you have struggled for adequate supplies of farm water over the last few years, then this workshop will be for you.
The workshop is designed to help you plan to meet your future farm water needs and get you started on designing a better water management plan for your property. Topics to be covered include: calculating how much farm water you need and how much you can capture, considerations for dams and improving their reliability, reticulation design and water licensing and regulation.
The workshop will be delivered by DPI farm water specialists and is a free course.
Each participant will receive an A2 aerial photomap of their property, which will include detailed water flow direction arrows to help in planning dam location and reticulation systems.
