The Dargo & District Landcare Group formed in 1995 and the group area covers 23,840 hectares. This area encompasses Wongungarra, Dargo, Castleburn and Cobbannah. The group is situated approximately 80 km north west of the City of Bairnsdale. The main ongoing project that the Group focus on is the beautification of Riley's Creek which involves weed control and revegetation with seedlings that are indigenous to the area.
