This group covers the Brodribb River valley for an area of approximately 50km2 at Goongerah. Two groups formed in 1997 (Goongerah-Upper Brodribb and Goongerah) and amalgamated into one in 2001.Recent/Current projectsPrevious projects saw the planting of over 3000 plants on the Brodribb River adjoining private property. 2004-05 saw the group receive funding from the Weeds of National Significance (WoNS) program for the control of Blackberry. .Issues:Pest plants, predominantly blackberry, feral animals, clean up and revegetate the Brodribb River (willow control).
