The Gazette Land Action Group developed a reserve park in memory of the group's founding President, Austin Uebergang.
The Memorial Reserve Park situated on the Twomeys bridge Rd, just north of Langes Rd (previously the Yatchaw sand pit) was sponsored by Westpac was officially opened in 2005, for the preservation of local fauna and flora.
