Growth in housing is occurring on the Northern side of the Merbein township. We wish to link a new residential development to the existing track and prevent land degradation and negative impacts on native vegetation through undirected access. The existing Merbein Common Link Track needs reestablishment and further tracks are needed to enable residents to experience our indigenous plants in their natural environment whilst walking or cycling within the Common or en route to the Murray River.
