This group covers the area to the south of Tallangatta township, incorporating the Bryants Gap valley, sections of the Lake Hume foreshore and up to Lockharts Gap Road.
We actively encourage community and individual projects such as gully restoration, pasture improvement, establishment of wildlife corridors, soil biology improvement and biodiversity projects.
The group distributes information on field days/workshops that are held in our region.
We have already made a significant impact on the local environment with many large tree plantings on public and private land and weed control programs.
We have contributed to the protection of native remnant vegetation and work with authorities to develop roadside protection plans and strategies.
