This project started on 1 Oct 2017 and finished 31 Jul 2019

1. Reduce invasive weeds casing threats to local
indigenous species.
The project will reduce the impact of five pest plants from
the local area;
Gorse - Blackberry – Golden Thistle - English Broom –
Boxthorn - Briar Rose.
2. The planting of 1700 threatened local tree species
within the local area of Blampied – Kooroocheang: Yarra
Gum - Snow Gum - Yellow Box - Tree Violet - Silver Banksia
The project will involve as many land managers as
possible within the Upper Loddon Catchment, to prevent
further degradation and devaluation of agricultural land.
