Guildford Upper-Loddon Landcare Inc (initially from 1995 and now in April 2025 incorporated and re-energised) is a registered not-for-profit charity and our purposes are:
· Revegetation and rehabilitation with indigenous species.
· Increasing biodiversity, enhancing soils and habitat, and conserving of all native species.
· Tackling the eradication of invasive pests, weeds and non-native flora and fauna.
· Engaging with Traditional Owners and collaborating on caring for Country.
· Engaging with and involving the community in volunteer participation (including citizen science activities collecting data for research) and education on sustainable land management and increasing awareness of issues relating to the natural environment.
Since recommencement in April '25 we have had two planting bees, plans in place for a propagation workshop, the repair of a vermin-proof fence on covenanted land, a planning day, and the Christmas party.
We welcome new members (and new projects) for many year-round projects. Please contact Gendrie or Bill by email or telephone and by '26 we will have a website and means to join and be involved on-line.
