The North Central Waterwatch Program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of community, to help them become custodians of their local waterways. Our members test the water quality at the Millwood Rd bridge, Bendigo Creek on a monthly basis assessing levels of turbidity, salinity, pH and phosphorus.

Our test site is downstream of the tributary taking input from the Bendigo Wastewater Treatment Plant. Turbidity, pH and salinity are usually good to very good. Reactive Phosphorus can sometimes be high.
