This project has finished

This project started on 11 Aug 2019 and finished 11 Aug 2019

Come and join our Landcare members and hear from a CFA speaker about fire and its benefits on biodiversity. Learn about how to conduct a cool burn and the reasoning behind this ancient land management tool at a practical working bee in Moorooduc.

Join B&ML Group members at our Treasurer Lee’s rural Moorooduc property and learn how cool burning promotes growth of indigenous species and controls invasive weeds with practical demonstrations and group participation. Listen to an experienced CFA
member give a talk about how important fire can be to biodiversity.

Wear comfy clothes and closed toe sturdy shoes and roll up your sleeves
and meet your fellow Landcare neighbours.

We invite you to stay after the working bee for light refreshments.
This event is free to members of Balcombe & Moorooduc Landcare and
interested locals.
