The Friends of Scotchmans Creek and Valley Reserve Inc. is dedicated to the protection, maintenance and rehabilitation of the Scotchmans Creek Linear Reserve and Valley Reserve in Mt. Waverley. The Friends of Scotchmans Creek and Valley Reserve Inc. is a volunteer community group dedicated to the protection, maintenance and rehabilitation of the Urban Park environment of Scotchmans Creek Linear Reserve and Valley Reserve in Mt. Waverley.
Broadly, our aims are to co-operate with, and assist, the Monash Council and Melbourne Water in maintaining and enhancing this environment and to encourage neighbours and the wider community to participate in this work. This includes controlling erosion, managing the banks, protecting flora and fauna, propagation of indigenous plants, eradicating weeds, rehabilitation and planting of native vegetation.
We are an Incorporated Association with a Committee of Management. We hold regular committee meetings and general meetings with interesting speakers throughout the year.
The Monash Council and Melbourne Water welcome the interest and support of community groups in the rehabilitation of waterways, and it is a way for your ideas to be taken into consideration. The Scotchmans Creek Linear Park and Valley Reserve are already beautiful community areas, widely appreciated by many residents. But they can be made better ? and you can help!

If you agree with these aims and would like to join us, you will be kept informed of happenings along Scotchmans Creek and be able to assisit in this valuable work.
