The Mt Worth and District Landcare Group attracts community members from the area of Darnum-Allambee Road in the east, Hazeldean Road in the north, in and around Lardeners Track in the west and the border of Sth Gippsland Shire to the south at Ferndale, Strzelecki and Trida. The Mt Worth & District Landcare Group is a active group of farmers, and lifestyle  and non-resident property owners. We are working together to create a healthy balance between sustainable agriculture production, habitat conservation and protection and preservation of the natural environment.
  Some activities of the group include:

* Open farm days and workshops where members share their landcare achievements on their property with other members;
* Information sessions about local fauna and flora;
* Training for members who may want to develop further knowledge or skills eg.  erosion control and fencing;
* Joint activities with other local groups such as Friends of Mt Worth State Park, Seaview Mechanics Institute, Landcare groups as well as local and State Government;
And * seeking funding to enable members to undertake Landcare projects on their own land or to benefit the local environment and community.
