Wonthaggi Urban Landcare Group works with local volunteers to care for some of Wonthaggi’s most treasured natural places. Together we help improve habitat, support wildlife and create a greener future for our community.

Wonthaggi is fortunate to have many public bushland reserves distributed throughout the town and surrounding areas. Many people are unaware of the natural areas that exist close to home and the diversity of plants and animals that live within them. These bushland reserves would not be here today without the efforts of local volunteers and community groups who have spent decades helping create, improve and support these areas.

Our members contribute their time, labour, skills and knowledge to help ensure wildlife and people continue to have natural places to thrive in Wonthaggi.
