Discussions about humane killing of pest birds isn't topic number 1 for group harmony in local landcare groups.
Managing trap loans with deposits wasn't our core competency either.
A deposit set as an amount equal to the purchase price seems to have been a disincentive for trap returns.
Some traps for sale deviate from the recommended design. Ours were bought from a grain store and made at a prison. They were too big and the two chambers didn't come apart. This made covering them very difficult.
