The Wallup Ag Group has existed for over 20 years, initially formed as a Top Crop Group funded by the DPI. The group is made up of farmers in and around the Wallup district of the Yarriambiack Shire. The group continues to have largely a sustainable agriculture focus as well as social outlet. The group works with government departments and private agricultural companies to obtain and demonstrate the latest methods, technologies and products available for their industry, as well as traditional standards of pest plant and animal control and revegetation works.
