2019-20 Victorian Landcare Grants

Applications are now open


The Victorian Government is providing $1.76 million in funding for Victorian Landcare Grants in 2019-20. These grants will support Landcare and other environmental volunteer groups to undertake projects that protect, enhance and restore the land and environment.

How much funding is available?

Project grants of up to $20,000 are available for on-ground works, capacity-building activities, community education and engagement projects to protect, enhance and restore Victoria’s land and natural environment.

Support grants of $500 are also available for new and existing groups.


Who is eligible to apply?

Grants are open to all Victorian Landcare and other environmental volunteer groups and networks with a focus on on-ground land and natural environment improvement work. This includes:

  • Landcare groups and networks
  • "Friends of" groups
  • Conservation Management Networks
  • Committees of Management
  • Coastcare groups

Applications close 5pm Wednesday 12 June 2019.

The Victorian Landcare Grants are delivered by Victoria’s ten Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs).
