The Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party in collaboration with the Upper Barwon Landcare Network are delivering an information session on both serrated tussock and chilean needle grass. I will be speaking on serrated tussock and the VSTWP program focusing on the Corangamite region. Many local landholders are also interested in learning about the best management of chilean needle grass in pasture situations and areas of difficult terrain. Dr Charles Grech, a weed scientist who has his own farm and successfully managed to replace a heavily chilean needle grass infestation into productive pasture (and also completed his PhD on chilean needle grass), will be speaking on this topic.
