Lismore Landcare will be hosting a workshop aimed at improving volunteer communication skills. This workshop is aimed at volunteers or professionals who run community groups or work with the community. It is designed to improve an individual’s skills in communication. Some of the topics include how to be effective communicators, how to communicate your message, how to influence others and how to manage difficult situations. Executives of groups are encouraged to register. Preference will be given to Landcare group executives but others are encouraged to apply. The workshop is facilitated by practicing mediator Rhianne Williams and is free. Learn how to conduct effective communication in and between Community and Landcare groups. There are limited spaces available so contact the Lismore Landcare Office ASAP.
