The 2011 Annual General Meeting for Lismore Land Protection Group Inc. was held last August at the Lismore Hotel with a record breaking number of 70 attendees. Members from many groups within the Lismore Landcare Network attended, including Lismore Land Protection Group, Weering Eurack Landcare, Cundare Duverney Landcare, Weerite Landcare and Mount Elephant Community Management Inc.
Congratulations to the elected office bearers voted by the members to continue the groups’ management – continuing President: Brian Wilson, Secretary: Peter Janes, Treasurer: Lyn Stammberger, Assistant Treasurer: Margot Barr
The guest speaker was WIN News meteorologist Jane Bunn who gave a presentation on general weather patterns and how to read the weather in our area, which was received with much enthusiasm.
