Well known local environmentalist Graeme Stockton demonstrates how to propagate indigenous seeds.

TDLG begins the year with a 'Propagation Workshop' presented by Graeme Stockton of Westcoast Indigenous Plant Nursery. Graeme’s passion and knowledge of our indigenous plants is well acknowledged, and prized. This is a repeat of a successful 2022 workshop, where participants gained an insight into the various techniques used in the propagation of indigenous plants. They were able to plant seeds and transplant seedlings which they could then either donate to revegetation projects or use themselves.

The workshop venue is the Freshwater Creek Steiner School (thank you to the school for offering us the use of the facilities) and will run from 2pm - 4pm with refreshments at the conclusion. The latter providing an opportunity to finish any propagation, or engage in a chat.

Participant numbers are limited to 20 and there is no charge.

This project is supported by the Victorian Government Authority via the 2022 Victorian Landcare Grants through the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority
