This event is part of
Understanding gorse and why effective control matters.
With Spring here, we are enjoying some blossoms, but others will provide us with a future headache, as we know them as aggressive invasive weeds.
Join us in learning more about how to control this tough spiky evergreen shrub.
Workshop will cover
Control methods : cut and paint, ECO BLADE, and spraying
Integrated management ; why long term planning and ongoing control are essential
On site demonstrations
ECO BLADE demonstration
NOTE The Eco Blade was used by the SCS in Grasstree Park Nature Reserve.
They commented
"At Grasstree Park, the Eco blade was successfully used to cheaply treat large areas of woody weeds. The blade height was able to be set to remove the weed species while avoiding the native under storey."
