Ashley Hall from the Department of Primary Industries, Ballarat spoke to local Landcare group members about Weeds of National Significance threatening the Cressy and Beeac areas. Samples of Chilean Needle Grass, Native Spear Grass, Serrated Tussock, Native Silver Tussock, Bridal Creeper and Kangaroo Grass were on display to assist with identifying weeds and distinguishing between natives and weeds. A similar evening was also held earlier at Cressy hosted by the Cundare Duverney Landcare Group.
