Paul Harvey, Group Coordinator with the East Gippsland Landcare Network,
will lead a field excursion to investigate and identify the characteristics of a
range of native grasses commonly occurring in the fringe margins of the
Colquhoun State Forest.

The excursion will be located within walking distance of the Forestech carpark

and run for about 2 hours.

Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn, insect repellent and a

water bottle are also recommended.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will travel to the Kalimna Gully

Jetty carpark for a free BBQ.

There will be an opportunity to discuss further works at this site during and

after the BBQ.
