We invite the community to attend an information session on the management, ecology and options for wild deer in the High Country.
A dozen speakers will be attending to talk through the management issues surrounding wild deer. They will discuss with the community, deer ecology, the impacts deer are having on the environment, hunting rules and regulations, pet food industry trials, behaviour of shooters, to name a few.
A community lead discussion will enable members of the local communities to have their says on any changes that should be made to the management of deer in the High Country.
