Farm Field Day - Demonstrating Effective Weed Control - with the Blackberry Taskforce.

A community Landcare event is occurring Friday the 30th of April between 3-6pm at the Tambo Valley Gun Club, Swifts Creek. This was postponed back in February, due to COVID restrictions.

The events is packed with great guest speakers and field demonstrations, focusing Blackberry, African Lovegrass, Serrated Tussock, Chilean Needlegrass and African Boxthorn control methods.

This is a free event and open to the general public to attend.

Come along to hear and see:

1. A demonstration of aerial herbicide application (spraying using a drone),


3. A demonstration of a posi track, removing large African Boxthorn shrubs by Brandon Betts,

4. A demonstration of organic blackberry herbicide and using Personal Protective Equipment when handling herbicides.

5.  Members of the Victorian  Blackberry Taskforce will be in attendance.

6.   And so much more.

Come along and have your questions answered. Talk to others about their good and great herbicide techniques.
