Ararat Landcare Group is a peri-urban group concentrating on remnant vegetation protection around Ararat. Our main project is enhancing vegetation along Cemetery Creek and maintaining the walking track running along the creekside. Weed control is a major activity for volunteers. Planting local native vegetation on Crown Land is also a priority.
