We hope to see you at the International Biochar Southwest Field Tours that will be taking place in our region from the 20th to the 22nd of October 2019.
There has been an endless amount of work associated with establishing a Biochar demonstration site located at Gorae West through funding from the National Landcare program.
This site will be the main focus of the Field tour, (a significant achievement for the group), showcasing the group’s work with biochar use in agriculture highlighting the results achieved over this time.
The site aims to demonstrate any dry matter and/or grain yield production gains when comparing “Biochar Treatments vs Control”.
People can register on line to attend part of or all of the three days as interested.
