This event is part of
Grasslands Society of Southern Australia invite you to consider the evolving area of carbon farming and emissions for your farm business.
Front Foot Farming - Carbon Farming for the Future will be a one day conference to address the challenges and opportunities of carbon farming.
Speaker sessions will include:
- Richard Eckard (University of Melbourne Professor of Livestock Systems
- Lousia Kiely (Director of Carbon Farmers Australia)
- Doug McNichol (Sustainable Innovation Manager MLA)
- Professional farmer panel and case studies on carbon mapping conducted on farms locally (including John Gardner - South Mokanger)
The day is free for all current Grasslands Society Members, while non-members will pay $45.
The conference will begin at 8.00am and finish at 3.00pm.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
