The Victorian Government is delivering on its Biodiversity 2037 commitment to reduce the impacts of invasive species, like this Sambar Deer, on our highly valued biodiversity.
Deer are an introduced species that have a significant negative impact on the environment and valuable landscapes across Victoria. It’s estimated that more than 1,000 species of native flora and fauna would benefit from efforts to control deer.
